Description
To reproduce, do
mtr --testcase-timeout=1 --view-protocol --no-reorder spider.quick_mode_0 spider.slave_trx_isolation
The 0 can be 1, 2, or 3.
In a previous run without the testcase timeout restrictions, it appears to be stuck in wait_for_slave_param
(tested at 10.11 5c9c81ed5408594e9113a0bdc0af08b39b69c56a)

which looks the same as MDEV-34361 which was fixed as a cleanup byproduct. It does not seem to be an important issue given the trouble to debug and is a can worth kicking down the road if possible.
