The following test case brings the server to an assert failure:

create table t1 (a int) engine=myisam;

insert into t1 values (3), (7), (1);

create table t2 (b int) engine=myisam;

insert into t2 values (1), (2), (3), (4);

insert into t2 select * from t2;

insert into t2 select * from t2;

insert into t2 select * from t2;

insert into t2 select * from t2;

insert into t2 select * from t2;

insert into t2 select * from t2;

select * from t1 where ((select min(b), max(b) from t2 where b < 1) = (1, 2)) IS UNKNOWN;

The assert failure occurs in the function Item::update_null_value ().
