Description
Hello,
We've seen a few times in our systems an scenario that the database will not be able to start.
If we want to recover from this we will have to end up starting with innodb_force_recovery =2 and then dump and load which is not the best of the experiences.
Sadly I can't reproduce the issue.
The signature of the the crash on the error log is:

I will also attach some gdb debugging and a page dump. From my initial analysis of the page this is what I see:
The page dump shows that the page is well built, this is, it has all the components and does not seem to have anything missing but has some things that are off for me. Lets look at it:
FIL_PAGE_NEXT in 0x00d is 4294967295 ? the current page is 2438 the only explanation would be that it is used as end of the list. I am not that familiar with the code so not sure if this is the case.
FIL_PAGE_FILE_FLUSH_LSN in 0x010b is empty?? however FIL_PAGE_ARCH_LOG_NO at 0x0203 has information
PAGE_N_DIR_SLOTS there are 19
PAGE_N_HEAP shows that are 32865 records in the page as it can be seen in 0x02b
There are 6894 free (deleted) records on the page that use 5896 bytes
PAGE_LAST_INSERT is empty in 0x0300
PAGE_DIRECTION is RIGHT and 94 records where inserted in that direction
PAGE_MAX_TRX_ID is empty??
PAGE_N_RECS in 0x037 has 73 user records. Notice that this is really low compared with PAGE_N_HEAP
PAGE_INDEX_ID is 9007 which matches with the info from gdb (as it should)
PAGE_BTR_SEG_LEAF is empty
PAGE_BTR_SEG_TOP Is empty
My take after debugging and looking into the code is that something may go wrong when calling page_cur_insert_rec_low
We've seen a few of these errors in our systems.
