MariaDB bin files grows unexpectedly and server is running out of space

    Description

      Hello Experts,
      My project is using MariaDB version 10.5.15. We have 3 different databases named X, Y, and Z. We are loading bulk data transactions to the database Y and checked the bin file of Y grown unexpectedly and occupied more space, and the system has reached running out of space.

      Checked the purging of logs and date can setup in config file of mariaDB. Will it resolve the issue?. Any side effects or data loss possible. Kindly suggest the better options to proceed with this issue.

      max_binlog_size = 100M
      expire_logs_days = 7
