Connector/J documentation has no maintainence policy

For vendors who cannot update Connector/J every few months, it is important to know which version will be supported how long, and also what the compatibility with current and future MariaDB server versions will look like.

For reference, MariaDB server has good documentation on the maintenance plans here:

It would be very helpful and reduce costs for vendors if maintenance plans for the MariaDB Connector/J could be made transparent, too. The important parts are the end of the maintenance window, and the compatible MariaDB Server versions.

If this is not possible in general, at least a statement on planned compatibility of the 2.0 branch and 2.1 branch with MariaDB Server 10.1 and 10.2 would be helpful for us as a vendor.
