Error connecting to older servers

    Description

      Since upgrading from 3.1.12 to 3.1.13 any attempt to connect to an older server (MySQL 5.1 in this case) results in an error:

      [unixODBC][ma-3.1.13]Unknown system variable 'session_track_schema'

      This appears to origination in https://github.com/mariadb-corporation/mariadb-connector-odbc/commit/5341593e8289c73f6861f556616755e3c7b9a216 which fixed https://jira.mariadb.org/browse/ODBC-313.
