Description

The code that reads the OS version from one of the release or version files in /etc is broken, so depending on exactly what files are present, the version may be reported correctly, not at all, or in a garbled fashion. At least Debian and Sles15 are affected. This has no impact on the functionality of MaxScale, but only on what is logged at startup.
