Description

~~MDEV-38716~~ was added to 12.3 because it was a blocker for the release. It reported a crash caused by ~~MDEV-36290~~, but the actual cause is a long-standing bug from ALTER TABLE. The fix should be backported to 10.11 to fix the underlying bug.
