Include the S3 storage engine in MariaDB Community Server binary packages

    Description

      The S3 storage engine is included in source code distributions of MariaDB Community Server 10.5. However, it is not currently built and distributed with any of our MariaDB Community Server 10.5 binary packages.

      With the MariaDB Community Server 10.5.3 RC release, users are already trying to use it, but are unable to. See here for some examples:

      We should make a decision:

      1.) Do we include the S3 storage engine in our MariaDB Community Server 10.5 binary packages?

      2.) Do we tell users to download the source code distributions of MariaDB Community Server 10.5 and compile the engine from source?

      3.) Do we tell users that it is not really supported in MariaDB Community Server 10.5?
