      What do we do here?

      • simply add aliases for variables, SHOW STATUS will have both?
      • SHOW STATUS only shows old variant?
      • SHOW STATUS only shows new variant?
        • this will break all tools that do SHOW STATUS LIKE 'Slave_running'
