      Logs

      190822 14:32:29 [ERROR] mysqld got signal 11 ;
      This could be because you hit a bug. It is also possible that this binary
      or one of the libraries it was linked against is corrupt, improperly built,
      or misconfigured. This error can also be caused by malfunctioning hardware.

      To report this bug, see https://mariadb.com/kb/en/reporting-bugs

      We will try our best to scrape up some info that will hopefully help
      diagnose the problem, but since we have already crashed,
      something is definitely wrong and this may fail.

      Server version: 10.4.7-MariaDB-1:10.4.7+maria~bionic
      key_buffer_size=134217728
      read_buffer_size=2097152
      max_used_connections=1
      max_threads=102
      thread_count=7
      It is possible that mysqld could use up to
      key_buffer_size + (read_buffer_size + sort_buffer_size)*max_threads = 760243 K  bytes of memory
      Hope that's ok; if not, decrease some variables in the equation.

            Any update on this?

            I'm seeing the exact same problem and the workaround posted here also fixed it for me. But can't be 100 % sure that it's the same bug. I first noticed this bug when upgrading from 10.3.9 to 10.4.7. (and the default for rowid_filter was also changed between these versions)

            For me it only happens under very specific circumstances within the web app that's making the query. Essentially the crash doesn't happen when it only has to query one record. When it has to query two or more it crashes.

            I have a report from another user of the same web app and he's not seeing this issue, but he's running MariaDB 10.4.7 on Windows 10 (I'm on Ubuntu 18.04)
