Thread stay in "cleaning up" status after finishing

    Description

      After the thread is fulfilled, the status stay in "cleaning up" forever.

      It is the same bug as reported here:
      https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=78777

      A fix is already in place for MySQL
