add --view tests to branch protection

they're broken quite regularly, better to have them in branch protection set.

options:

• add an existing builder that runs --view to the branch protection set
• switch one of the branch protection builders to use --view
• switch one of the not-branch-protection fast builders to --view and add it to branch protection
