      I have seen a recent benchmark which compares MariaDB Columnstore to ClickHouse, which concludes that the ClickHouse is better in some aspects to Columnstore:

      Column Store Database Benchmarks: MariaDB ColumnStore vs. Clickhouse vs. Apache Spark

      ClickHouse - open source distributed column-oriented DBMS

      Therefore, it would be really interesting to port some of the features in which ClickHouse stands out to ColumnStore, as both projects are Open Source.
