postConfigure should identify failed remote node and maybe output last few lines of log

when you are doing a multi node install, i assume we must actually know which nodes failed in order to detect that the remote installs failed. It would be helpful to the user to actually:

• identify which we think failed
• output last say 5-10 lines of the respective log files

right now we just tell them to go look at some log files in /tmp.
