Columnstore Query never completes

    Description

      Refer to the support ticket for logs and other details.

      Normally, the query in question completes in less than 1 hour. However, in this case, it ran indefinitely (+70,000 seconds) until the thread of the session was killed intentionally. Some factors involved:

      • S3 storage
      • possible recurrence of MCOL-5565
      • Table has 260 columns
      • Query aggregates many columns
