    Description

On Ubuntu (I didn't check other distributions) mariadb-plugin-columnstore does not depend on jq. However jq seemsis used by mcsReadOnly, mcsReadWrite, mcsStart and mcsShutdown.

      Check in this way:

      alias | grep \s*mcs | grep jq

          Hi f_razzoli.

I will add my 5 cents here. The aliases are the obsolete way of managing MCS. Not sure if MDB docs explicitly mentions this fact(if it doesn't it should). I would press on using `mcs` utility as the only way to control the cluster.
Does this sounds to you f_razzoli?

@Roman Yes, if those aliases are going to be removed and js is not necessary elsewhere, I agree with you.
