For QA: not really much to test here. I suspect things like using a function such as lpad() with LONGTEXT with UTF8 would cause a crash before this patch.

engine commit:
57724e5

Unable to reproduce a crash in 1.2.5-1 using the lpad(). Verified by regression with Autopilot test suite funcForText instead.
