    Description

      Currently writes beyond the EOF currently need to create files that contain null data. This can be optimized by handling it within the metadata files themselves and filling in null data during IOC read/write operations. Scope of changes needs to be investigated. This does not currently appear to impact ColumnStore normal operation.
