utility to rebuild column file

A utility should be provided that reads a given tables columns files and then rewrites eliminating any unreadable data. Whatever can be written in context of the unreadable data should be written. This could be useful to handle bad disk blocks etc and avoid the need to rebuild the schema. Should check for writes suspended and fail if not.
