Description
Support for using MySQL connectors together with MariaDB backends.
The MariaDB and MySQL protocols are mostly identical and the differences are of opt-in character. Still, for full support some tuning will be needed. The MariaDB monitor may also need some adjustments as will anything else that deals with GTIDs.
