No error messages in log if directory permissions are not correct

    Description

      If permissions of /var/lib/maxscale and/or /var/run/maxscale are not correct, maxscale will stop without error message.

      I found this (took me some time) because I (successfully) started MaxScale as root to work around MXS-277.
