Feature request: support for BLOB/TEXT in Memory storage engine

      Description

      Is there any plan/possibility for in memory temp tables to support BLOB/TEXT columns? Seems it has been tried before ( http://www.percona.com/doc/percona-server/5.5/flexibility/improved_memory_engine.html ) but not sure if it is applicable.
