Remove or deprecate unused variables

    Description

      There are several variables in the docs (https://mariadb.com/kb/en/server-system-variables) that are marked as 'Unused'

      rpl_recovery_rank - removed in 5.6
      max_tmp_tables - deprecated in 5.7
      time_format - deprecated in 5.7
      date_format - deprecated in 5.7
      datetime_format - deprecated in 5.7

      Maybe it's time to deprecate/remove them too.
