Analysis

The same diff appears across four different builders in the last 7 days (aarch64-debian-12, amd64-freebsd-14, ppc64le-ubuntu-2204, s390x-ubuntu-2204), which points at the branch/test itself rather than a single builder's environment.

Regression of MDEV-41017

This diff is identical to the one reported in MDEV-41017, which was closed Fixed on 2026-09-07 with Fix Version/s 10.11.20, 11.4.14, 11.8.10, 12.3.4, 13.0.2, 13.1.1. The failure continues on the 11.4 branch HEAD as recently as 2026-09-27 (commit 322658cd442333a13b46521d1acca67d1e8366cb), 20 days after that ticket closed, indicating the fix has not landed on the 11.4 branch HEAD yet or the issue has regressed.
