    Description

      During MDEV-37070 development, it has been discovered that buffer pool resize can override an user command to disable AHI, by unconditionally re-enabling it if it was enabled when resize started.
      The attached .patch file allows to verify the behavior in current main cfde5bf2dd3.
      This ticket is opened to track the pre-existing bug separately from MDEV-37070 implementation.
