    Description

      This task is separated out from MDEV-31949 as its part III.

      In its core XA transactions, similarly to normal transactions do not have to commit (complete) durably in order to be recoverable.
      Recovery is fully addressed by MDEV-33168 et al of the part IV of MDEV-31949.
