Description
I had a previous version 10.2. I uninstalled it completely and deleted the folders /val/lib/mysql, and /etc/my.cnf.d. I also deleted the file /etc/my.cnf.
I installed a vanilla version of 11.4.3.
The folders /val/lib/mysql, and /etc/my.cnf.d were created, but the file /etc/my.cnf was not.
