Description
- Bootstrap the data directory with some MySQL 5.6, e.g. 5.6.43. Whether or not the server was started after that and any actions were performed, is unimportant.
- Start 10.4 on the same datadir, all defaults will do.
- Run mysql_upgrade

The table still has a wrong definition, an error is written in the error log:

A datadir bootstrapped with MySQL 5.6 is attached.
10.3 works all right.
