      When OpenSSL will be released under Apache license, there would be no need to spend efforts maintaining yassl support anymore.

            There is no extra branch, just build without yassl (Cmake option -DWITH_SSL=system).

            I used both SLP and FireDaemon openssl windows binaries and both failed with LNK2019 errors on SSLeay_version, CRYPTO_get_id_callback, OPENSSL_add_all_algorithms_noconf, etc. Is there a recommended binary? The wiki doesn't indicate what to do if you want to use your own OpenSSL.

            This is an issue about removing YaSSL from the source tree. Please ask questions about compilation issues with SLP or FireDaemon openssl windows binaries on maria-developers@lists.launchpad.net
