Disruptive Innovation: New Engine for GPU Powered SQL Database

Just the way a MariaDB Transactional (TX) table engine was developed porting code from github's RocksDB, by adapting it for making it work with the MariaDB SQL Front-End, a very interesting innitiative would be to develope another engine for a GPU Powered SQL Database within the Analytics (AX) field.

The GPU table AX engine could be based in BlazingDB's Community Edition or MapD Open Source Core Code:

A fork could be done, and adapted to the MariaDB Front-End, which would probably revolutionize how Analytics are done thanks to the well-known MariaDB/MySQL SQL Syntax + The GPU SQL Power Performance.
