Crash after node desync

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

      One node (master) in a master-slave setup (gcs.fc_master_slave = YES; pc.ignore_sb = TRUE") crashed after it desynced itself from the cluster.
      Iam using Xtrabackub to do Backups on the slave node.

      Maybe it corresbonds with the bug, which i've already found:
      https://bugs.launchpad.net/percona-xtradb-cluster/+bug/1611728
      The only thing which dont fit to my setup is, that i don't use the option
      inno-backup-opts='--no-backup-locks' in the config.

      Here are the corresponding log lines:

      This could be because you hit a bug. It is also possible that this binary
      or one of the libraries it was linked against is corrupt, improperly built,
      or misconfigured. This error can also be caused by malfunctioning hardware.

      To report this bug, see https://mariadb.com/kb/en/reporting-bugs

      We will try our best to scrape up some info that will hopefully help
      diagnose the problem, but since we have already crashed,
      something is definitely wrong and this may fail.

      Server version: 10.0.27-MariaDB-1~trusty-wsrep
      key_buffer_size=268435456
      read_buffer_size=131072
      max_used_connections=5
      max_threads=102
      thread_count=3
      It is possible that mysqld could use up to
      key_buffer_size + (read_buffer_size + sort_buffer_size)*max_threads = 486142 K bytes of memory
      Hope that's ok; if not, decrease some variables in the equation.

      Some pointers may be invalid and cause the dump to abort.

      The manual page at http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/crashing.html contains
      information that should help you find out what is causing the crash.

      We think the query pointer is invalid, but we will try to print it anyway.
