General things that should be done each quarter for Buildbot:

• look for temporary changes introduced into BB and see if they are still relevant
• look for new versions of distros and see if they have basic containers where we can start to pre-test on those (e.g Centos 10, Ubuntu X.Y, fedora etc new version)
• See if there are deprecated platforms https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb-platform-deprecation-policy/ remove those from CI
• Validate which branch protection tasks are close to the maturity point in server when they can be made into branch protection builders
• Validate fixed worker like MacOS, FreeBSD, AIX to see if they are on a supported version and create necessary tasks to update.

Distro community:

• look though distro bugs for MariaDB to see if any of them are likely upstream worthy
• look though the patches and packages that distros are carrying and see if we make their packaging simpler with basic server changes

Ecosystem community:

• Look though https://github.com/Vettabase/awesome-mariadb projects though their bugs and support forums related to MariaDB, engage and upstream efforts if required.
