Information about a selected option should appear below the selection on the downloads page

When a version is selected on the downloads page, text appears above the selection. This breaks basic UI rules, as the page operates from top to bottom, and a text change happening above the user's eye when they're moving down is not very visible.

The text is also in a purple box, which users tend to further skip, as its associated with banner ads.

I suggest text relating to a version selection appears directly BELOW the version selection dropdown
