    Description

      2026 Updates

Currently the working feed with no content issues is: https://mariadb.org/planet-feed.xml (atom)

      • It is also the one configured in the RSS Aggregator plugin in WP-Admin

      New feeds found:
      https://mariadb.org/planet-atom
https://mariadb.org/planet-opml (XML documents with the list of feed sources)

      • not all sources registered in RSS Aggregator are present in this file.

Planet template parts are found in htdocs\wp-content\themes\twentynineteen-child\template-parts\rss
Planet related redirects can be found in: nginx\planet.conf and WP-Admin panel in the Redirection plugin

Subdomain planet.mariadb.org can be removed and. We should decide on one working feed (and Atom if relevant) and only keep those.

/feed is the default wordpress RSS feed which only tracks internal posts so will not include outside sources.

The custom feeds use the URL as an ID (as outside sources will not have a numeric ID like the WP Posts in /feed) so because of this any feed redirect will duplicate all internal posts when fetching updates (one with the numeric ID and one with the URL).

The footer with original source URL is also duplicated because of a conflict between the WP theme and RSS Aggregator plugin.
