    Description

      MCOL-2055 fixed a problem with handling long TEXT or BLOB data crossing block boundaries. There has been talk of ways to optimize the fix from MCOL-2055.
      MCOL-491 is similar to MCOL-2055 except the problem is for VARCHAR when VARCHAR fields are allowed to increase in size. Since it is similar, I've included it as related here.
