performance improvement for new java implementation

Java 9 to 17 features worth using to investigate and validate with JMH:

• Integer.parseInt(CharSequence, from, to, radix) and the Long variant, added in 9.
• Arrays.equals with ranges and Arrays.mismatch
• Objects.checkIndex and checkFromIndexSize in the byte buffer: JIT-intrinsic bounds checks in place of hand-written guards.
• InputStream.readNBytes/transferTo
• ServiceLoader.stream() lets the codec and authentication plugin loaders filter on Provider.type() without instantiating every plugin on the classpath.
