MariaDB Client Library for C 1.0.0 is missing non-blocking methods

I think this is just because 1.0.0 is kind of old - but it does not have any of the newer non-blocking methods available.

I'd love to see a new release with the new non-blocking methods, instead of downloading the entire mariadb release to build just the client.
