It looks like the parsec plugin is not included in windows builds of 3.4.3 (https://dlm.mariadb.com/3964760/Connectors/c/connector-c-3.4.3/mariadb-connector-c-3.4.3-win64.msi).
Shouldn't it have been part of this release?

Connector/C 3.4 is used for MariaDB server starting from 11.4. But only servers starting from 11.6 support parsec.
We've solved it by not compiling parsec in Connector/C by default, and 11.6 enabling it explicitly — if you'll look at https://mariadb.org/download/?t=mariadb&p=mariadb&r=11.6.1&os=windows&cpu=x86_64&pkg=msi it should have Connector/C with parsec.

But now we're considering to reverse this behavior in the next release — that is, to have Connector/C including parsec by default, and 11.4 disabling it explicitly.

            Thanks clarifying that quickly!

Having client support within the release was expected as the client was assumed to support 11.4+, therefore I would vote to reverse the behavior.

I think it's not part of 11.6.1 for windows but will then be part of 11.6.2.

Hey, just checked the 11.6.2 win binaries and it seems to be missing

            https://archive.mariadb.org/mariadb-11.6.2/winx64-packages/mariadb-11.6.2-winx64.zip

no auth_parsec.dll included in the lib folder.
