With high number of threads , performance decrease over time

      After some running time with many short running queries (1000+) performance degration can be seen, which is difficult to reproduce.

      This not happened with 10.6.18, but seen in 10.6.20 and still exists 10.6.25 (10.6.19 was not tested)

      So maybe a regression of
