Description
Hello,
Subject: Request for Root Cause Analysis regarding web page latency and binary log accumulation
We require a root cause analysis regarding the recent overall web page loading latency.
While overall system resources appeared normal, we observed that executing a single query caused a specific CPU core to spike to 100% usage.
During the process of configuring and restarting MHA multiple times, over 100 binary log files (1GB each) were generated and accumulated on that specific date. However, the disk capacity itself was ample, with a total size of 4TB.
Our operational retention policy for binary logs is set to one week. As of today, those accumulated log files expired and were automatically deleted. Subsequently, the page loading speed returned to normal levels.
Since the only confirmed change compared to yesterday is the deletion of these binary logs, we would like to confirm if the massive accumulation of these logs and their automatic deletion today could be the direct cause of the performance degradation and its resolution.
Thank you as always for your support.
