mbstream is not restoring backup properly: xb_stream_read_chunk(): invalid checksum at offset 0x3056

The mbstream command from MariaDB Backup fails to restore backups on one server while the same backups restore successfully on other servers. When restoring backups on our test server, the process fails with checksum errors for about 30% of backup files.

Sample error: xb_stream_read_chunk(): invalid checksum at offset 0x3056: expected 0x9187e3c8, read 0x388406d5

The process always writes 12288 bytes of ib_logfile0 before failing, then it continue to read streamed backup. Failure occur with variable timing (sometimes after 30 seconds, sometimes after 10 minutes).

Troubleshooting Performed:

• Verified identical package versions across all servers
• Reinstalled the OS on problem server
• Replaced hardware on problem server
• Verified SHA256 checksums of backup files match across servers
• Tested restoring with percona-xtrabackup xbstream with same results
• Tested with local disk storage and network shares (same issue persists)
