Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS (x86)
Kernel Version: 5.15.0-113-generic
Description
How to repeat:
CREATE TABLE t0(c0 CHAR(100) NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY(c0)); |
CREATE TABLE t1(c0 VARCHAR(100) ); |
INSERT INTO t1 VALUES ('B'); |
INSERT INTO t0 VALUES ('bྃ'); |
INSERT INTO t1 VALUES ('gIG'); |
SET SESSION join_cache_level = 7; |
|
SELECT * FROM t0; -- get [bྃ] |
SELECT * FROM t1; -- get [B,gIG] |
|
SELECT t1.c0 FROM t1 WHERE NOT EXISTS (SELECT 1 FROM t0 WHERE t1.c0 = t0.c0); -- get [gIG], expect [B,gIG] |
Suggested fix:
When join_cache_level is switched back to the default value of 2, the results are correct.
