Description
Currently, MariaDB is unable to parallelize replicated transactions form a MySQL primary due to differences in the GTID format. This presents an obstacle to live migrations. Translating the MySQL GTID to a MariaDB-usable one when reading the relay log might not be very difficult to implement, and would greatly help with the ability to migrate in these circumstances.
