I have two tables, having relating between them foegin key relation, When i insert in master table which has relation with id , version column

I have two tables
A and B

A is the master table having two columns ( id, version no)
having relation with child table B on (id, version_no)

I am facing issue as :
CASE 1
when i first insert into the table A as id = 1 version = 1 and B as id = 1 and version = 1 ., its work
CASE 2
When i first insert into the table A as (id = 1, version = 2) and update the B table as version =2 with id = 1, then it work for me but when i delete the row from the table A then its give me error for constraint foreign key. But its working on older version of mariaDB.
