I think that work towards fixing ~~MDEV-13542~~ would be much more productive. With innodb_checksum_algorithm=full_crc32, unencrypted pages cannot be mistaken for encrypted or vice versa.

I reworked the messages as part of ~~MDEV-12112~~. The messages that were added recently will not be present in any release.
