Remove "innodb_additional_mem_pool_size" setting from my-innodb-heavy-4G.cnf file

    Description

After installing 10.2 on my CentOS 7 box, I copied over the sample config file

      /usr/share/mysql/my-innodb-heavy-4G.cnf

      to

      /etc/my.cnf.d/

, while server failed to start with error.

      Removing the

      innodb_additional_mem_pool_size

setting from the sample config would resolve the issue.

Thanks for the report. The option was removed in 10.2 (it still exists in XtraDB source code in 10.2, but XtraDB itself is not compiled and not used).

The fix is to remove all remaining usages of the option.

10.3 is not affected, because there the configuration templates themselves have been removed.
