make SIGNAL maximum MESSAGE_TEXT length a larger value

    Description

      Currently when you raise a SIGNAL and set MESSAGE_TEXT you are limited to 128 characters. When you are dynamically constructing messages sometimes the 128 char limit is a a problem.

      Would it be easy to make this longer or configurable to a longer length?
