MariaDB 10.2.5 version compiled from source
Description
Setting event_scheduler = On in my.cnf does not work.
Putting "set global event_scheduler = On" in an init_file does work!

A big part of your config won't work (lines 65-141 in the attached file), as they are placed under [myisamchk] section (line 64).
