    Description

      Starting with version 3.5.4 (CONJ-1261), codec caching functionality was introduced.

      Codecs allow you to define custom field encoding and decoding behavior, though this feature is rarely used and dynamic codec creation is even less common.

      The objective of this enhancement is to enable codec caching by default, which will improve performance by reducing overhead when establishing new database connections.
